LOST THE PLOT ALLOTMENTSThe 'Lost the Plot' Allotments are a welcome addition to the village landscape and an excellent use of previously unused land. The allotments are a constant source of wonder to local residents, who walking past, cannot help but be impressed by the industriousness of these green-fingered gardeners.

ST ISSEY SCHOOL'S KITCHEN GARDENIn 1868 when Revd Noel Mann founded St Issey Church of England School, one of the main difficulties facing the new Head was the anual emptying of classrooms during the harvest. Happily, todays cohort of children at St Issey Church of England Primary enjoy gardening as part of a dynamic and enriching curriculum lead by Head Teacher, Jayne Swindall and her team of teachers.
ST ISSEY SCHOOL GREEN TEAMSt Issey School's Green team has achieved the Woodland Trust Green Tree Bronze and Silver awards. This is a wonderful achievement is a testament to the contribution of everybody in the school community over the last four years. They have planted trees and hedges in the school grounds, reduced their carbon emissions by taking part in Walk to School Week and regularly visited woodlands as part of our Forest School programme.
